During this period, the initial scenarios, alternative ways of enriching and expanding them were examined in order to meet both the requirements of the project and the characteristics of the Peloponnese Region in collaboration with the other members of the project team.
Requirements of the technology that has been selected and especially of the interactive tunnel system that will be implemented were recorded, in order to allow its best and most efficient exploitation.
In addition, naming proposals were made for the Serious game, research on the look and feel of the game with moodboards, concept art was created for the characters, splash screen (introduction screen), 3D assets that include the animals that star in the game and the players’ enemies, the 3D models of the protagonists of the game, various 3D props, the required animations of all characters, a 3D map of the Peloponnese with the beaches-points of interest, shaders and textures for all assets, as well as optimization for the textures ( textures) to be compatible with the Unity game engine used for development.
At the same time, for the VR tour game, location scouting was done and specific points of interest in the Peloponnese were proposed that can be used as 360 VR video shooting locations, while VR Video recordings were completed in the Geopark of the coastal zone of Agios Nikolaos Voion, Laconia and in the city of
Koronis of the Regional Unity of Messinia.
